Sr. Estimator OpportunityLead the development of comprehensive estimates and proposals for complex construction projects. Review project drawings, specifications, schedules, and related documentation to establish project scope and pricing strategies. Perform detailed quantity take-offs and cost analysis throughout various stages of design and preconstruction. Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate pricing from subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors. Develop value engineering solutions and cost-saving alternatives to support project objectives. Collaborate with design, preconstruction, and operations teams to ensure project budgets align with design intent and client expectations. Participate in client presentations, proposal reviews, and project pursuit activities. Support subcontractor procurement and project handoff activities following award. Review project performance against original estimates and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. They will possess strong analytical and communication skills, demonstrate leadership capabilities, and be comfortable working collaboratively with internal teams, clients, consultants, and trade partners. Key requirements include: Significant experience in construction estimating or preconstruction. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project delivery processes. Experience preparing detailed cost estimates and managing complex pursuits. Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills. Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
