OverviewIn this role, you will serve as a senior member of the cross-functional GeneDx Epic AURA team, providing leadership and expertise across multiple Epic applications (including Ambulatory, Orders, Bridges, and Beaker). You will oversee and guide build efforts, partner closely with downstream Engineering and Development teams, and lead integrated testing to ensure end-to-end functionality and data integrity across the AURA ecosystem.Job ResponsibilitiesServe as a senior subject matter expert across Epic AURA components—including Orders, Bridges, Ambulatory, and Beaker—to support both internal optimization and client implementation efforts.Oversee and guide analyst build efforts to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with downstream systems and project requirements.Lead integrated testing across internal GeneDx systems; coordinate validation and troubleshooting with Engineering, LIMS, and Implementation teams.Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Operations to track and prioritize optimization requests, enhancements, and build changes.Review and document system workflows and data flow dependencies to ensure alignment across Epic and internal systems.Act as a liaison between analysts, management, and downstream technical teams to ensure clear communication, visibility, and accountability for project milestones.Mentor and train analysts by providing build guidance, documentation standards, and best practices for testing and optimization.Support post-go-live production stability through proactive monitoring, issue triage, and continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain and enhance internal documentation (Confluence, Jira, or equivalent) for build tracking, test cases, and optimization roadmaps.Qualifications5+ years of experience working with multiple Epic applications (Ambulatory, Orders, Bridges, and/or Beaker).Proven experience leading integrated testing and coordinating build activities across teams.Strong understanding of clinical ordering workflows and downstream lab processes.Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and Epic integration architecture.Demonstrated success in Epic build, validation, and troubleshooting.Highly organized, with strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate across cross-functional technical and clinical teams.Experience with genomics or lab integration environments is highly preferred.Comfortable using Jira, Confluence, or other project tracking tools for documentation and optimization tracking.Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsActive Epic certification is required (e.g., Ambulatory, Care Everywhere, Bridges, Beaker).Compensation$120,000—$130,000 USDEqual Employment OpportunityWe welcome everyone regardless of their background.
