Location: North Fort Myers, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Organization
A leading utility and infrastructure services organization serving more than 250,000 customers across Southwest Florida is seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Project Manager. The organization is recognized for operational excellence, community involvement, and a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
Position Summary
The Senior Enterprise Project Manager is responsible for leading complex, enterprise-wide initiatives that improve organizational performance and align with strategic priorities. This role requires expertise in project leadership, executive communication, business case development, prioritization, planning, governance, and full project lifecycle management.
The successful candidate will help guide the organization's project portfolio, improve portfolio efficiency, and provide training, coaching, and support to project sponsors, managers, and teams. As a collaborative leader, this individual will champion positive change, drive successful project outcomes, and build strong stakeholder relationships across the organization.
Key Responsibilities

Support corporate and divisional strategic initiatives and objectives.
Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Manage the full project lifecycle, including:

Scope definition
Resource planning and allocation
Schedule and budget management
Risk, Action, Issue, and Dependency (RAID) management
Change management
Deliverable tracking and reporting


Prepare and present written and verbal project status updates to leadership.
Partner closely with project sponsors, business owners, and stakeholders.
Facilitate project governance and phase-gate reviews.
Evaluate project outcomes, lessons learned, and benefits realization.
Provide guidance on business case development and project evaluation.
Support governance processes, methodologies, tools, compliance, and adoption.
Track and report project performance metrics and portfolio health.
Analyze and prioritize projects based on strategic alignment.
Perform resource planning and allocation analysis.
Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and issues.
Develop and maintain project management standards, training materials, and best practices.
Mentor junior and mid-level project managers.
Build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
Support emergency response and storm restoration efforts when required.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education
Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience
Required:

10+ years of project management experience, including complex Information Technology, Engineering, or enterprise-wide initiatives.

Preferred:

2+ years of change management experience.
2+ years of portfolio management experience.
2+ years of project governance experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Required:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
Expertise with project management methodologies, frameworks, and tools.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

Knowledge of process management, change management, and strategic planning.
Familiarity with business analysis, ITIL, software development life cycle (SDLC), COTS implementations, emerging technologies, and application support concepts.
Experience in the utility, energy, or critical infrastructure industries.

Certifications
Required:

PMP (Project Management Professional)
Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments

Preferred:

PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner)

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
This position primarily operates in a professional office environment with extended periods of sitting and computer work. Occasional travel, lifting, and movement may be required.
Emergency Response Requirement
As a critical infrastructure organization, employees may be required to support emergency response and recovery operations during major events or natural disasters. Extended work hours and participation in restoration efforts may be required when business needs dictate.
