Senior Engineering Test Specialist - Vehicle Systems Description Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Responsibilities: + Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for various systems and components, ensuring adherence to industry standards and specifications. + Operate, maintain, and calibrate advanced testing equipment (e.g., Edaq, thermocouples, strain gauges, current clamps, load cells, PLC, etc.) and manage scheduled maintenance. + Collect, analyze, and document test data, providing detailed reports and actionable insights to support product development and improvement. + Identify and resolve complex issues during testing, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques. + Design, plan, develop, and build new test equipment to meet evolving testing requirements and improve testing efficiency. + Work closely with design, automotive, electronics, electrical, industrial maintenance, and mechanical teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes and results. + Facilitate cross-training and skill development opportunities for team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning. + Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and lead advanced safety training initiatives. + Drive quality assurance by aligning testing with standards, updating SOPs, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Qualifications: + Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred. + Years of Experience: 6 years or more of experience required.
