About the job Senior Engineering Project ManagerWe areseeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager to lead large-scale capital projects within its North American operations. This role is responsible for full lifecycle ownership of complex engineering projects, including conceptual design, execution, and deployment across one or multiple manufacturing sites.This is a highly visible leadership role requiring strong technical expertise, capital project management experience, and deep knowledge of process safety in a chemical manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead cross-functional project teams to deliver major capital projects exceeding $30M in valueOwn full project lifecycle from conceptual design, estimating, and detailed planning through execution and commissioningManage multiple projects simultaneously, potentially across multiple manufacturing sitesEnsure project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables align with strategic business objectivesChair project team meetings and coordinate internal and external resourcesLead feasibility studies, vendor evaluations, proposal reviews, and contractor selectionDefine Statements of Work (SOW), technical specifications, and implementation plansMonitor and control workstreams to resolve risks, dependencies, conflicts, and critical path issuesProvide clear and consistent reporting on project milestones, risks, and performanceLead and participate in Process Safety Management (PSM) activities, including:HAZOPsManagement of Change (MOC)Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR)Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA)Risk assessments and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) developmentRequired QualificationsBachelors Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering ( Chemical Engineering preferred )15–20 years of hands‑on experience managing capital projects in chemical manufacturing facilitiesStrong understanding of project and program management methodologiesProven ability to manage multiple complex projects at various execution stagesStrong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skillsAdvanced technical and data analysis capabilitiesDemonstrated ability to learn and apply new chemistries and manufacturing processes#J-18808-Ljbffr
