Job Description Summary
The Design Manager shall have both management and individual contributor responsibilities.
As a Manager, you will be responsible for delivering technical output for the development of hypersonic flight and ground prototypes and their subsystems for the purpose of maturing high-speed propulsion systems to TRL 6-7. As an experienced leader, you will direct teams of design and analysis engineers to meet program requirements and develop both the teams and their processes through continuous improvement, and balancing capacity and capability with business demands. As part of the engineering leadership team, you will be a key player in determining engineering strategy and influencing future business direction. Liaising closely with Engineering, Program, Test and Manufacturing counterparts, you will lead a highly-technical engineering team to deliver business needs and achieve continuous process improvements.

For New York applicants the base pay range for this position is 150,000 - 225,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on July 14, 2026
