Job Title: Senior Engineer Quality
Location: 8515 East Orchard Road, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 May work remotely from anywhere in the US.*
Salary: $139,443.00 / year with standard corporate benefits.
Duties Formulate, define, and document systems/application scope and objectives working closely with systems architecture, development and engineering teams. Prepare detailed specifications from which system/applications will be developed and maintained. Perform key portions of the system development lifecycle including gathering, documenting and analyzing requirements for moderately complex, multiplatform applications. Maintain documentation, project tracking, and key stakeholder reporting metrics. Make recommendations for project resource requirements to project managers and/or systems leadership. Perform moderately complex system/application testing to ensure delivery meets business, budgetary, and end-user expectations. Responsible for the quality assurance testing function. Provide day to day support to existing applications and troubleshoots system/applications performance issues as they arise. Determine and ensure resolution to moderately complex system/application problems. Provide advanced technical support and guidance directly to end users. Act as a liaison between key business area and systems teams, and communicates project feasibility, status and issues to key stakeholders. Train and mentor less experienced staff, acting as a resource for colleagues with less experience. *May work remotely from anywhere in the US.
Requirements:** Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related; 4 years of experience as a QA Engineer, Quality/Testing Analyst or a related position. Experience must include: Testing applications developed on JavaScript and Cloud Services including Spring boot, Spring batch and React. Testing in legacy applications written in C and using custom forms creator by Oracle. Selenium, Cucumber (BDD), SOAP UI, Postman, SQL, PL/SQL, Unix, Java, API, REST, XML/JSON, GitHub, JIRA, Maven, Kanban, TestNG, Junit, TOSCA and Cypress, CI/CD pipelines(Jenkins). Waterfall and Agile Methodologies, including different SDLCs with agile including Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework, and SQL developer and SQL for troubleshooting in Test and Prod Environments. Various business domains like HR, Retail, Finance, including leading efforts from development through user testing to Production environments and working with user community to ensure quality testing was performed prior to user delivery.
