Summary

We are an established tech firm in the Dallas / Fort Worth area of Texas hiring a Senior Engineer to join our IT team.

If you have at least 8 years of implementation and support experience working with complex IT systems and networks, then you are the candidate we are looking for.

Leadership skills and excellent communications are a must have for this senior position.

This position will work with our team to consult, design, implement, and support advanced solutions from vendors like VMWare, Scale, Microsoft, Nutanix, Azure, Cisco, Fortinet, SonicWALL, and others.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced working knowledge of virtualization including VMWare, Horizons, Hyperconverged systems, SANS, clustering and other network storage systems.
  • Advanced working knowledge of networking architecture and technologies including TCP/IP, VLANS, wireless networking, routing, switches, firewalls, DNS, VPN, and VoIP. (Cisco, Fortinet, SonicWALL and more)
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and Azure AD (AD enterprise structure, replication, default objects, roles, GPO's and policies) and Windows Server Technologies (Windows Server, HyperV, RDS, SQL, IIS \u2026).
  • Working knowledge of security policies and controls.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, O365, AWS, Google, GSuite \u2026)

Minimum Education:

Bachelor's degree required.

Experience:

8+ years systems architecture, administration, installation, and troubleshooting

Desired Certifications:

Microsoft platform certifications

VMWare platform certifications

Security+, Network+ or equivalent network vendor certification

(Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, SonicWALL, etc)
