This is an exciting opportunity to work on next‑generation ASIC/SoC products, enabling cutting‑edge pre‑silicon validation through advanced hardware emulation technologies.We are looking for an experienced engineer with strong expertise in emulation build flows, model bring‑up, debugging, and performance optimization across enterprise emulation platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain emulation build and model development flows.Debug emulation build failures, compile issues, and model bring‑up problems.Optimize emulation environments for capacity, throughput, and overall performance.Support pre‑silicon validation and verification activities for complex ASIC/SoC designs.Debug RTL, firmware, and hardware/software interaction issues.Collaborate with design, verification, and firmware teams to improve emulation infrastructure and methodology.Required Qualifications8+ years of experience in Hardware Emulation, ASIC/SoC Design, Verification, or Emulation Methodology.Hands‑on experience with Emulation Build & Model Development.Strong experience debugging build failures and model bring‑up issues.Experience optimizing emulation environments for capacity, performance, and throughput.Hands‑on experience with one or more of the following platforms:ProtiumHAPSStrong debugging skills involving RTL, firmware, and hardware/software interactions.Programming experience with SystemVerilog, C++, Python, or Perl.Experience with C DPI, transactors, and waveform debugging tools such as Verdi or Visualizer.Good understanding of CPU/GPU architectures and high‑speed protocols including PCIe, DRAM, Ethernet, AMBA, CXL, USB, UART, JTAG, and I2C.Experience supporting pre‑silicon validation and emulation methodologies.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Hybrid Emulation technologies.AI/ML‑based automation for emulation workflows.Embedded Firmware or BIOS development experience.EducationBachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.About us:VGAI Solutions is an AI‑first Engineering and IT Staffing company specializing in connecting exceptional technology professionals with Fortune 500 clients across the United States.
