A growing Space technology company developing advanced electronic systems is seeking a Senior Electronics Test Engineer to join its engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys designing innovative test solutions, developing automation, and working across the full product development lifecycle.You'll play a key role in the design, implementation and continuous improvement of sophisticated test systems used to validate complex electronic products, working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.The RoleAs a Senior Electronics Test Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing test architectures, creating automated test solutions, and validating board-level electronic systems from prototype through to production.Key responsibilities include:Designing and developing automated test systems and architecturesCreating test plans, procedures and validation methodologiesDeveloping software for hardware interfaces and automated test equipmentDesigning reusable and scalable test software using Python or similar programming languagesExecuting prototype, qualification and production testingSupporting hardware verification and system integrationAnalysing, documenting and presenting test results to engineering stakeholdersSupporting laboratory development, equipment selection and test infrastructureAdvising engineering teams on design-for-test (DFT) best practicesContributing to continuous improvement of test tools, software and documentationMentoring technicians and supporting production test activitiesRequired ExperienceWe're looking for engineers with experience in many of the following:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline4+ years' experience designing and implementing electronic test systemsExperience testing custom board‑level electronic hardwareStrong understanding of automated test methodologiesHands‑on experience with laboratory equipment including:Spectrum analysersRF signal generatorsVector signal analysersProgramming or scripting experience using Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, Embedded C or similarExperience designing test plans and analysing technical dataExcellent communication and problem‑solving skillsExperience in any of the following would be advantageous:Version control systems such as Git or SVNWindows and Linux environmentsNetwork communications and interface protocolsDevelopment of graphical user interfaces (GUI) for test applicationsProgramming automated test equipment using SCPIExperience with digital and analogue communication interfaces including SPI, I²C, CAN, USB, TCP/IP or similarWhat's on OfferComprehensive healthcare and retirement benefitsPerformance‑related incentivesExposure to cutting‑edge electronic product developmentCollaborative engineering environment with hands‑on technical challenges#J-18808-Ljbffr
