You triage the alarm, consult schematics, isolate the issue on a 480V circuit, swap the failing component, validate with meter readings, and document the fix—all while coaching a teammate through the diagnostic steps. Responsibilities

• Install, sustain, and enhance production equipment and facility systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance with inspections and functional testing to ensure reliable operation.
• Own rapid response to unscheduled equipment downtime; troubleshoot across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic domains.
• Leverage equipment manuals, work orders, blueprints, and electrical schematics to guide service work.
• Diagnose, repair/replace parts, test, and calibrate equipment; make precise adjustments.
• Execute routine building maintenance including basic plumbing and carpentry.
• Operate hand/power tools, electric meters, and material‑handling equipment safely.
• Identify and report abnormal operations or defective materials to supervision immediately.
• Maintain accurate electronic records of all maintenance and repairs; support CMMS data integrity.
• Requisition parts; contribute to spares management, inventory accuracy, and contractor oversight.
• Prepare for and support audits through compliant processes and complete documentation.
• Partner with the maintenance lead to plan priorities, secure supplies, and align skills to tasks.
• Assess building systems to determine required maintenance or repairs.
• Provide technical assistance and mentorship to team members on complex assignments.
• Champion H&S, ISO, IATF, Lean, and strong housekeeping practices.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Robust mechanical aptitude and expert electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics; familiarity with utilities and building systems.
• Comfort with CMMS tools and Microsoft Office for logs, reporting, and inventory actions.
• Preferred cross‑trade exposure: locksmithing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or painting.
• Sharp problem‑solving instincts to identify root causes and define corrective actions.

Experience and education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Associate degree and experience training or leading others preferred.
