We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator who will be responsible for all aspects of Electrical estimation which includes taking off lighting, wiring devices, and gear as well as working directly with vendors to compile accurate estimates for potential commercial and residential multi-family Electrical projects of $1 Million+

Responsibilities:

· Accurately estimate plan and spec Electrical projects using estimating software

· Analyze blueprints, specifications, and quotes

· Prepare labor and material estimates as well as subcontractor pricing

· Prepare and submit proposals

· Establish and maintain client and vendor relationships

· Perform site surveys and attend pre-bid walkthroughs

· Prepare submittal packages

· Interact with the sales and project management teams to ensure all projects are performed under budget and according to plans and specifications

Qualifications:

· 5 + years of estimating experience in the Electrical industry with a proven track record

· Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and other construction documents

· Knowledge of different types of Electrical systems and their components

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Trimble: Accu-bid. and Trimble:Livecount, and Bluebeam products.

  • Instructing all Saudi Aramco electrical training programs
  • Perform the duties of estimating all aspects of electrical construction
  • Prepare electrical planning packages for upcoming planned electrical work (Drawings, walk-downs, coordination, materials, contractors)
  • Reviewing electrical specifications and thoroughly and accurately providing estimating solutions
  • Work to develop innovative solutions for the various electrical installation projects
  • Developing, testing and verifying complex engineering tasks in electrical development
  • Calculate the cost of electrical construction based on reviewing and evaluating available documents
  • Create detailed electrical bid packages for proposal purposes
