Senior Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in

Key Responsibilities - Perform schematic capture for analog and digital electronics designs
- Lead PCB layout from concept through production release
- Develop and debug firmware for microcontrollers and FPGAs
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate hardware and firmware solutions
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and verification of designs to meet program requirements
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation, including design specifications and test procedures
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in:
- Schematic capture and PCB layout for analog and digital electronics
- Firmware development for microcontrollers and FPGAs
- Strong email, verbal communication, specification, and documentation skills
- U.S. citizenship required (due to government contract requirements)
- Local candidates and principals only (no agencies)
Preferred Qualifications - Experience writing Data Items (Contractor Data Requirements List)
- Skilled in designing interfaces between the data link and physical layers in the OSI Model
- Familiarity with configuration management tools such as SOLIDWORKS PDM or similar
- Knowledge of relevant MIL-STDs, including DO-254
- Experience with industry-standard video protocols:
- SMPTE 259, 292, 424 (SD, HD, 3G-SDI)
- NTSC
- HDMI/DVI
- DisplayPort
- VGA
- MPEG-4/H.264 encoding
