Join our client’s team as a Senior Electrical Engineer supporting cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing, R&D laboratories, and advanced technology facilities in the heart of Silicon Valley. This is an opportunity to work on mission-critical projects that power the core of our clients’ businesses within one of the most innovative engineering environments in the world.
 
If you’re experienced in electrical systems design and enjoy seeing your work move from drawings to field execution, this role offers both ownership and impact.
 
What You’ll Do:
You will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of assigned engineering tasks while collaborating closely with discipline leads and project teams.
 
Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing single-line diagrams
  • Designing electrical room layouts
  • Developing motor control elementaries
  • Creating connection diagrams and cable schedules
  • Preparing control panel layouts
  • Designing grounding, lighting, and power plans
  • Providing on-site startup assistance
  • Supporting Services During Construction (SDC) / Construction Administration (CA)** including:
    • Submittal reviews
    • RFI responses
    • Design verification walks
    • Field observation reports
  • Recognizing and communicating scope or design changes promptly
  • Coordinating activities across multidisciplinary engineering teams
You will gain familiarity with client expectations, project scope, budgets, and schedules while maintaining technical excellence.
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering
  • 6+ years of Electrical Engineering experience
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
  • Services During Construction (SDC) or Construction Administration (CA) experience
  • Ability to work onsite in Sunnyvale, CA at least 4 days per week
