Senior Electrical EngineerCoordinate the work of Electrical Engineers with the balance of a multidiscipline team throughout the entire project's developmentEstablish client relations, and participate in the marketing, design and production meetings with regard to electrical systemsAssume the electrical lead on many projectsParticipate in reviews with various governing agencies for code complianceConduct schematic, design development and contract document work sessions in conjunction with the Project Manager and other disciplinesCoordinate workload through the entire project development to complete projects on scheduleTrack the financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust the work effort with the team to ensure that the work is completed within the parameters of the agreed-upon scheduleWork with the Project Manager and Regional Controller for project reviews with corporate management as neededDirect the activities of other electrical engineering professionals, and act as a mentor to other staff members as neededPerform other duties as neededWork will include a mixture of office and field work and may require travelPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience with an engineering consulting firm desiredPreference given to local candidatesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-EAC Accredited Degree)A minimum of 10 years experience in electrical design (lighting/power/systems/controls)Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) licenseExtensive knowledge of electrical power, lighting, signal, and control designStrong computer knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, and electrical design softwareAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must#J-18808-Ljbffr
