A rapidly growing aerospace technology company is seeking a Senior Electrical Hardware Engineer to join a highly collaborative hardware team developing next-generation spacecraft systems.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys owning hardware from concept through deployment and wants the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on products operating in some of the world's most demanding environments.

Job Details

What You'll Do
Design and develop spacecraft electrical systems
Create schematics and PCB layouts
Perform board bring-up and debugging
Execute validation testing and root-cause analysis
Build and evaluate hardware prototypes
Collaborate with software, systems, mechanical, and manufacturing teams
Participate in architecture discussions and design reviews
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering excellence

What We're Looking For
5-10 years of electrical hardware engineering experience
Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals
Experience designing and debugging complex electronic systems
PCB design and schematic capture experience
Board bring-up and validation expertise
Experience with embedded systems and hardware/software integration
Familiarity with SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and Ethernet
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced engineering environment

Preferred:
Altium experience
FPGA exposure
Space, robotics, automotive, medical device, or advanced hardware backgrounds
Linux familiarity
Python scripting experience
