Our medium sized partner develops innovative medical products used across North America. They are expanding their engineering team and are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the design and development of embedded and electronic medical systems in a regulated environment. This role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, compliant products.About the RoleThis role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, compliant products.ResponsibilitiesLead electrical engineering efforts across the full product lifecycle, from concept and requirements through to verification and validationDesign and develop analog, digital, and mixed‑signal circuits for medical device applicationsPerform schematic capture, simulation, and component selectionOversee PCB layout and participate in design reviewsDevelop power management solutions, including battery‑operated systemsSupport hands‑on activities such as prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and manufacturingWork on sensor integration, motor control, and communication interfaces as neededCollaborate closely with firmware, mechanical, software, systems, and test engineersEnsure compliance with EMC, electrical safety, and regulatory standardsPrepare and review technical documentation, including specifications, DFMEA, and test reportsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (Master's preferred)Minimum of 6 years' experience in product development or R&DStrong background in mixed‑signal circuit designExperience developing electronics for medical devices or other regulated industriesProficiency in Altium DesignerHands‑on experience with board bring‑up, debugging, and system‑level troubleshootingKnowledge of IEC 60601 standards (EMC, electrical safety, signal and power integrity)Experience with microcontrollers and communication protocols such as RS232, RS485, CAN, I2C, Ethernet, USB, SPIRequired SkillsStrong analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and communication skillsPreferred SkillsExperience in power electronics, including battery systems, chargers, and voltage regulationFamiliarity with high‑speed and high‑frequency designPay range and compensation package$165,000 - $185,000Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits packageHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) plan with employer contributionGenerous paid time off1 day working remotely per weekWe cannot provide sponsorship for this role.If interested, please send across an updated resume.#J-18808-Ljbffr
