As the company continues to grow, they are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead complex electrical engineering projects while mentoring technical staff and contributing to the continued success of the organization.About the PositionThe Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the electrical engineering and design efforts for large, complex commercial projects from conceptual design through construction completion. This role requires a seasoned engineering professional who can provide technical leadership, develop innovative design solutions, and oversee multidisciplinary project coordination while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.The successful candidate will serve as a technical resource for project teams, mentor junior engineers and designers, and work closely with clients, contractors, and internal leadership throughout every phase of project delivery.Candidates must reside in the Cleveland metropolitan area or be willing to relocate.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all aspects of electrical design, engineering, andspecification development for commercial building projects.Develop conceptual and schematic electrical designs forcomplex projects within aggressive project schedules.Organize and manage engineering activities throughoutdesign and construction.Direct and mentor engineers and designers assigned toproject teams.Review electrical calculations, drawings,specifications, and construction documents to ensure quality and accuracy.Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary project teamsto meet project milestones and budget objectives.Perform site surveys, field investigations, andexisting equipment assessments.Provide engineering support during construction,including responding to field questions and resolving technical issues.Monitor project scope, engineering budgets, andconstruction budgets while proactively communicating potential changes.Assist in developing and maintaining companyengineering, drafting, and design standards.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients,contractors, architects, and other project stakeholders.RequirementsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or arelated engineering discipline.Demonstrated experience leading electrical engineeringand design for commercial building projects.Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution,lighting, life safety, and building electrical systems.Experience preparing electrical calculations,construction drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.Ability to lead multiple complex projectssimultaneously while managing schedules and budgets.Experience directing and mentoring engineering anddesign staff.Strong communication, leadership, organizational, andproblem-solving skills.Ability to perform site investigations and coordinateengineering support during construction.Candidates must currently reside in the Clevelandmetropolitan area or be willing to relocate.Preferred QualificationsProfessional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtainlicensure.Experience with multidisciplinary engineering projectcoordination.Proficiency with industry-standard electrical designsoftware and BIM/Revit platforms.Experience working directly with architects,contractors, and building owners on commercial construction projects.BenefitsCompetitive salary of$120,000-$130,000 , basedon experienceComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurancePaid vacation, holidays, and personal timeRetirement savings plan with company contributionProfessional development, continuing education, andlicensing supportOpportunities for advancement into technical andleadership rolesCollaborative, team-oriented work environmentExposure to diverse and technically challengingcommercial building projects
