Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer – Liquids Pump Station FacilitiesLocation: Duluth, MN or Houston, TXTravel: Approximately 20% (site visits and design reviews)Position SummaryOur client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the Liquids Pump Station Facilities Engineering team. This role is responsible for leading the electrical engineering aspects of major capital projects while managing third‑party engineering consultants throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will serve as the technical lead for electrical design reviews, ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver high‑quality engineering solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the electrical engineering scope for multiple major facility projects within liquids pump station operations.Manage and provide technical oversight to third‑party engineering consultants throughout detailed engineering and design.Review engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, company standards, and project requirements.Support Engineering and Project Managers by providing technical guidance during engineering, procurement, and construction phases.Coordinate with EPC firms and engineering consultants to resolve technical issues and ensure successful project execution.Participate in design reviews, site visits, and construction support activities.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Business Development, Cost Controls, Project Management, Operations, and other internal stakeholders.Provide timely technical responses to engineering questions during construction and commissioning.Ensure electrical designs meet project objectives, safety requirements, and industry best practices.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.Senior‑level electrical engineering experience supporting industrial or energy infrastructure projects.Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, motor control centers (MCCs), and large substations.Experience managing external engineering consultants and/or EPC contractors.Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and engineering review processes.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to provide clear, detailed technical examples during interviews.Preferred QualificationsExperience with medium‑voltage electrical system design and review.Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) knowledge is beneficial but not required.Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Bluebeam for reviewing engineering drawings.Experience supporting engineering deliverables through construction and commissioning.Interview Process45‑minute interviewCombination of technical and behavioral questions.Candidates should be prepared to discuss detailed examples of projects they have led, technical decisions they have made, consultant/EPC management experience, and stakeholder communication.#J-18808-Ljbffr
