Senior Electrical Engineer - CF at Syska Hennessy Group, Dallas, TX. We are a global leader in consulting, engineering, and commissioning services for highly technical buildings and the systems that bring them to life. We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer - CF to join our Dallas, TX office. As a Senior Engineer, you will provide trade-specific system design: layout (mark-ups as well as self-performed production utilizing CAD/BIM), calculations (using appropriate software), and other related design services including coordination with the designs of other trades.Overview: Our dynamic work environment supports engineering careers with a collaborative culture, competitive compensation, flexible work schedule, and opportunities for growth.Job Responsibilities Direct and lead the design team on multiple projects.Review the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of the work assigned to you and others; learn technical and operational issues from supervising designers and engineers.Assume responsible charge for the overall economic wellbeing of the assigned projects.Conduct due diligence reports that comply with group and company standards; establish design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects.Design large projects, prepare reports and specifications, and provide a high level of technical leadership.Establish project budgets and schedules.Network within SHG and with external contacts.Participate in QA/QC processes of completed work by staff.Perform Engineer of Record duties for projects.Perform calculations, equipment selection and specification, system design and layout, field investigation, and construction administration.Staff resource management and review.Produce drawings consistent with client requirements and standards.Provide consulting engineering services including due diligence reports, gap analyses, and feasibility reports.Pursue continuing education.Represent the Firm in interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and other project team members.Take responsible charge for the project for your discipline, addressing any E&O issues.Job Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Mechanical, Plumbing, or Electrical discipline.8+ years of relevant experience in the MEP industry.Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is required.Hands-on design and CAD/REVIT experience is required, as you will have a very strong technical role.About Syska Hennessy Group As part of a global firm with a strong history, we are committed to advancing engineering design practice and supporting our clients with integrity.
