Senior Electrical Engineer is a full-time, hybrid role located in Boston, MA. This role is responsible for leading electrical design for building systems projects, including power distribution, lighting, and related infrastructure, from concept through construction documents.ResponsibilitiesLead Electrical Engineer on projectsResponsible for design and production of normal and emergency power, lighting, and fire alarm systemsReview of narratives, drawings, and specifications for all assigned projects, with knowledge in codesEnsuring work is within the scope of the project proposal and on budgetEnsuring the Quality Assurance/Quality Control process is carried out per company standardsEducation and ExperienceMinimum of 10 years of electrical design experienceBSEEPE is preferredQualificationsStrong foundation in Electrical Engineering principles, including applied Electricity and building systems fundamentalsDemonstrated expertise in Electrical Design for commercial, institutional, or complex architectural projectsHands-on experience with Power Distribution systems, including equipment selection, one-line diagrams, and panel schedulesKnowledge of Power Systems analysis, short-circuit and coordination studies, and reliability and safety considerationsProficiency with relevant design and modeling tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, electrical calculation software)Ability to lead projects, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior staff while managing schedules and deliverablesStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality work#J-18808-Ljbffr
