Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Senior Electrical Designers who are passionate about working on projects that are central to our clients' businesses. Join our dynamic team and work on exciting projects, including semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities, and other state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. You will thrive as you engage in computer-aided drafting and design of electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems for our clients' advanced facilities. Utilizing AutoCAD and Revit MEP, you will create layouts, sketches, 2D/3D modeling, and electronic document files.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver complex packages in coordination with engineers and design leads, forming the core of our electrical delivery team.
  • Develop staffing plans based on deliverables and project schedules.
  • Gain familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule for assigned tasks.
  • Mentor subordinates and provide guidance to less experienced designers/drafters.

Qualifications

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years of Revit/BIM design experience.
  • Team leadership interaction experience.
  • Experience with electrical engineering power distribution design projects; mission-critical facilities experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of electrical power system equipment/components such as switchgears, transformers, panelboards, generators, UPS, etc.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Project lead experience.
  • Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Passionate about buildings and construction.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Associate’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • 3 years of semiconductor experience.
  • Exposure to NEC and electrical design requirements.

Location

Flexibility within the U.S. Preference for candidates located in Moon Township, PA, Portland, OR, or Tempe, AZ. Remote work may be available for exceptional candidates.
