Primary Talent Partners has two openings for a Senior Electrical Design Technician to join our large engineering client.  These openings are contracts to start, but they are intended to convert to full-time permanent positions.

Pay:$48.00 - $56.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform computer aided drafting and design of electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems for advanced facilities, including semiconductor manufacturing, data centers, and other state of the art environments.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and Revit MEP to create layouts, sketches, 2D/3D models, and electronic document files.
  • Deliver complex design packages in coordination with engineers and design leads; serve as a core contributor to the electrical design team.
  • Develop staffing plans based on project deliverables and schedules.
  • Gain familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and timelines for assigned tasks.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers and drafters.
  • Collaborate within a dynamic, high performing team to produce world class designs for well known global clients.

Qualifications
Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 8 years of relevant design experience utilizing 3 D modeling/drafting
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Minimum of 1 year of Revit design experience

Preferred

  • Knowledge and application of NEC and electrical design requirements
  • Associate’s degree in a relevant field
  • 3 years of semiconductor industry experience
