Join our team as a Senior Director Regional Operations at Lancaster Family Health Center at Lancaster in Salem, OR.

In this position, youll oversee our Salem, Oregon clinics, effectively managing staff, productivity and financial budgets, ensuring patient satisfaction targets are met and championing quality assurance programs. Position Highlights:

  • $131K - $167K DOE with the ability to go higher for highly experienced candidates
  • $11,000 Hiring/Retention Bonus Structure:
  • At Hire: $3,300
  • At 6 months: $4,400
  • At 12 months: $3,300
  • Bonus will be pro-rated based on Full Time Equivalency (FTE)

What Youll Do:

  • Manage three or more service line clinics (medical, dental, pharmacy) with 100+ FTEs, 65,000 to 100,000 encounters, and an expense budget of $16-25 million. Increased clinic and service line scope impact the essential job functions as larger business operations lead to more complex and varied operating conditions.
  • Coach, mentor, and train direct report staff. Provide continuous performance management and conduct employee performance evaluations. Address performance and/or behavior issues, clarify expectations, and provide feedback.
  • Support staff growth and development. Assess the educational and experience needs of all levels of staff in collaboration with the individual. Encourage staff to seek educational opportunities incorporating job-related training in addition to mandatory training.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of staff. Provide orientation to outline job requirements and expectations, policies and procedures, and proper use of tools and equipment.
  • Build and maintain a positive, collaborative, and inclusive work environment that values a range of perspectives and approaches. Demonstrate strong leadership in hiring, managing, and retaining high-performing team members from local communities. Foster a culture of employee engagement and continuous improvement.
  • Be responsible for the patient experience in all service lines at sites and for achieving organizational goals for patient satisfaction.
  • Be responsible for achieving enrollment standards, patient quality metrics, patient access, and appropriate ED utilization as required by managed care organizations.
  • Manage all workflows at the site, including the clinic billing process for all applicable service lines within the site.
  • Exemplify excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, and other employees. Address all patient complaints. Hold staff accountable for conforming to customer service policy and patient satisfaction standards.
  • Partner with local healthcare leaders to develop a coordinated delivery system within the communities served by the clinics.
  • Develop and maintain ties and/or networks in the local community for the purpose of promoting the mission of Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic (YVFWC).
  • Recommend the establishment, expansion, modification, or elimination of services based on an understanding of community need, organizational capability, and financial viability.
  • Develop an annual encounter budget for all applicable service lines and be responsible for achieving the budget.
  • Contribute to the creation of the sites financial budget and manage variances for all controllable budget line items.
  • Develop and drive operational improvement and change-management initiatives within the clinics. Lead the site leadership team in continuous improvement practices.
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, Meaningful Use, National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), Uniform Data System (UDS), and local and state/federal regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or similar.
  • Seven years supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Five years supervisory experience is required with a Masters Degree.
  • Knowledge of Washington and/or Oregon State Basic Health Plans.
  • Knowledge of Community and Migrant Health Centers and primary healthcare services.
  • Ability to problem solve, prioritize, and communicate effectively.
  • Proficient with Epic or other patient information system, Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of medical and/or dental office operations preferred.
  • Ability to speak Spanish preferred.
  • Valid Drivers License and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage.
