JOB OVERVIEW

The Senior Director, Program Management and IT reports to the CFO and leads Rampart's corporate program management and information technology functions. This role is responsible for driving major cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution while building a scalable, secure, and business-oriented IT function.

The position partners closely with Finance, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Commercial, Clinical, Engineering, Legal, HR, and external vendors to ensure key projects are properly scoped, resourced, governed, implemented, and adopted.

CORE ROLES

  • Lead, manage, and hold project owners, vendors, implementation partners, and cross-functional teams accountable for results.
  • Establish practical PMO governance, including charters, timelines, milestone tracking, risk management, action-item follow-up, and executive reporting.
  • Lead IT strategy, cybersecurity, business applications, AI governance, vendor management, and user support
  • Support scalable systems, processes, controls, and technology infrastructure to enable Company growth.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Leadership and Program Management

  • Lead major initiatives using clear scope, owners, milestones, budgets, risks, dependencies, decision logs, reporting, change management, training, user adoption, and go-live readiness.
  • Coordinate with functional leaders to resolve bottlenecks, escalate key decisions, maintain project momentum, and provide concise updates to the CFO and executive leadership.
  • Model Company values and promote accountability, continuous improvement, cybersecurity awareness, responsible AI use, and disciplined execution.
  • Develop future internal IT, project management, systems, or support team members as the function grows.

Priority Corporate Initiatives

  • Lead the implementation of the European 3PL platform to support Europe and Middle East commercialization, including finance, legal, regulatory, quality, logistics, tax, inventory, commercial, customer service, and systems workstreams.
  • Coordinate Acumatica implementation for manufacturing, warehousing, inventory management, barcoding, cycle counts, controls, reporting, testing, training, and go-live readiness.
  • Support ClearShield automation and inspection initiatives, including automated material weighing, dispensing, mixing, sanding, polishing, workflow improvements, and AI-enabled panel inspection.
  • Coordinate approved AI tools, including Claude use cases for marketing decks, social posts, market and competitor intelligence, data analysis, and productivity improvement.
  • Lead the commodity-product e-commerce portal and coordinate required commercial, finance, customer service, logistics, IT, legal, quality, regulatory, and compliance inputs.

IT, Cybersecurity, AI, and Business Systems

  • Lead IT strategy, systems roadmap, cybersecurity, infrastructure, business applications, user support, technology governance, policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Assess outsourced IT services and recommend which responsibilities should remain outsourced or move in-house based on cost, risk, capability, security, compliance, scalability, and continuity.
  • Oversee equipment provisioning, access administration, onboarding/offboarding technology workflows, network administration, communications tools, IT assets, software licenses, and core platforms including Google Workspace, Acumatica, and approved AI tools.
  • Lead cybersecurity management, including training, endpoint security, access controls, authentication standards, user access reviews, incident response, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  • Develop the Company's AI policy and governance framework covering approved tools, permitted and prohibited use cases, confidentiality, data security, intellectual property, human review, training, monitoring, and escalation.
  • Translate business requirements into practical system, process, reporting, workflow, integration, internal control, user adoption, vendor, budget, and subscription-management solutions.

KEY METRICS

  • Major project milestones completed on time, within approved scope, and with effective cross-functional adoption.
  • Open project risks, overdue action items, unresolved escalations, and executive satisfaction with project visibility and accountability.
  • European 3PL, Acumatica manufacturing/warehouse/inventory/barcoding, e-commerce, automation, ClearShield inspection, and AI implementation milestones achieved.
  • AI policy adopted and maintained; selected IT responsibilities transitioned in-house; IT response/resolution and onboarding/offboarding access timeliness improved.
  • Cybersecurity training completion, phishing results, user access reviews, incident trends, IT spending, software utilization, and subscription consolidation savings tracked.

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, computer science, engineering, operations, finance, or related field; master's degree a plus.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in program management, IT leadership, business systems, operations, technology implementation, or related functions, including 5+ years leading teams, vendors, consultants, or cross-functional project teams.
  • Experience leading strategic initiatives in a high-growth company and managing ERP, manufacturing systems, inventory, warehouse management, barcoding, e-commerce, automation, business applications, or similar enterprise technology projects.
  • Experience with IT governance, cybersecurity oversight, business systems administration, vendor management, internal IT operations, PMO processes, change management, data governance, and internal controls.
  • Experience with AI governance, medical device, life sciences, manufacturing, regulated products, FDA-regulated environments, and Acumatica preferred.
  • PMP, PgMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, CISSP, CISM, ITIL, or similar certifications are a plus.

  • Strong executive presence, communication, organization, judgment, attention to detail, and ability to simplify technology, cybersecurity, AI, and systems topics.
  • Practical, hands-on style with strong business judgment, systems thinking, vendor management, cross-functional influence, problem solving, delegation, prioritization, integrity, and discretion.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, operate office technology, occasionally bend/reach/lift/crouch, and travel to Company facilities, vendors, partners, conferences, customer/distributor locations, or other business locations.

MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must synthesize complex information, resolve problems timely, analyze plans, technology requirements, risks, reports, and processes, communicate effectively, exercise sound judgment, and adapt to shifting priorities.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Work may include extended computer use, meetings, video conferences, vendor discussions, implementation sessions, travel, hours outside normal business hours (and may include weekends and holidays) regular on-site presence, and access to confidential Company, employee, financial, system, cybersecurity, AI, vendor, and strategic information.
