Position: Senior Director, Product Management

Duties: Provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices; analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans; determining and supporting resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results; identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; promoting a customer environment; and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning. Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leading key community outreach and involvement initiatives; engaging key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives; and supporting associate efforts in these areas. Drives a culture to understand and address customization needs based on functional requirements. Enables the creation of an ecosystem that identifies and addresses unmet customer needs. Owns multiple complex customer problems/needs. Promotes and drives value creation in evergreen and new areas using "Whole Product" concepts. Drives the product discovery process to improve product success. Creates guidelines for validation at different levels (for example, product, problem, user). Promotes strategies and vision and impacts on various related products. Provides guidance in creating "Go-to-Market" strategies by considering relevant user segments and ensuring mass adoption. Owns roadmaps of multiple complex product lines/product families and works with leadership to ensure alignment with overall business strategy. Creates strategies/processes that drive compliance and ethical norms. Addresses external/market constraints. Reviews and updates PM processes to formalize expectations. Oversees MVP and final product rollout and scaling processes. Extracts insights and promote the value of insight extraction from complex data analytics. Guides and extracts relevant data to drive effective product decisions. Demonstrates awareness of best practices in insight extraction from databases techniques. Independently drives product/feature analytics. This position supervises seven employees: Director, Advanced Analytics (2), Senior Manager, Product Management (2), Staff, Product Manager (2), Principal Product Manager (1).

 

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in business administration, computer science, engineering, or related area and 11 years of experience in product management; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, computer science, engineering, or related area and 13 years of post-bachelor’s progressively responsible experience in product management.

 

Skills required: Experience with leading end-to-end product lifecycle for enterprise platforms including vision definition, roadmap development, feature prioritization, and go-to-market planning. Experience with managing and mentoring cross-functional teams, including hiring, performance evaluation, professional development, and goal alignment. Experience with driving iterative delivery of high impact platform capabilities. Experience with designing and managing enterprise data platforms and integrating actionable data from multiple internal and third-party sources. Experience with implementing real-time data streaming and processing pipelines to power live customer insights and operational use cases. Experience with defining and delivering APIs for real-time and batch data extraction, processing, and availability of data across the enterprise. Experience with delivering and logging compliance, and platform governance features to meet enterprise customer and regulatory needs. Experience with interpreting customer data to derive actionable insights and informing business decisions across customer growth, advertising, and sales performance. Experience with delivering scalable SaaS products and platform capabilities designed for large-scale adoption by enterprise customers. Experience with defining and delivering intuitive, responsive product experiences optimized for engagement, workflow efficiency, and business outcomes. Experience with leveraging AI and ML to enable analytics, insight, and recommendations with feedback loops to enable enterprise teams to act on customer data patterns in real time to optimize end shopper journeys. Experience with building data products to streamline and automate end customer workflows data. Experience with designing and executing controlled experiments to evaluate new features, optimize user flows, and measure impact on conversion and engagement. Experience with designing and delivering scalable omni-channel retail and advertising technology solutions within large-scale enterprise environments. Experience with supporting privacy and compliance principles in partnership with SMEs into data architecture and workflows. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

 

Salary Range: $286,270/year to $384,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
