This includes all phases of the donor cycle, from discovery to stewardship, and the development of individualized engagement strategies that align with the organization's mission. Collaboration with the CEO, CDO, board members, and program staff is essential to create compelling cases for support and to engage donors. The role also involves representing the organization at various events and gatherings.Applicants for this role at the company should have a deep commitment to Indigenous rights, environmental justice, or related mission areas, and a proven track record in fundraising, particularly with high net-worth donors. The ideal candidate will have 8-12+ years' of progressive fundraising experience, with a focus on securing major or principal gifts. Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and cultural humility are required, as is the ability to work across diverse cultural contexts. Experience with complex gift vehicles and a willingness to travel, including internationally, is also necessary.
