The Sr Director of Sales will drive the strategy, business development and execution of the One Chobani portfolio across the Natural and Ecommerce channels. This role is responsible for the strategic leadership over development and execution of multiyear customer strategies. You will partner cross-functionally within the Commercial Team, Supply Chain, New Product Development, and Marketing to build and deliver multifaceted winning relationships.

This role needs to be based in any of our onsite locations (NYC, Plano, Minneapolis, Cincinatti). Chobani will assist with relocation.

Responsibilities

Dynamic thought leadership in the development of One Chobanis go-to-market strategy within the Natural and the Ecommerce businesses that delivers volume and revenue targets

Drive and build relationships with customers, understand their business models, and influence key decision makers to initiate shelf collaboration

Be a proactive voice of Sales internally: provide integrated customer, consumer and competitor insights along with actionable recommendations to drive share of mind, resourcing and focus

Lead cross-functional planning collaboration to deliver accurate volume and trade forecasts to finance, supply chain and commercial development partners

Identify and partner in the creation of selling materials to bring impactful and effective information to the Natural and Ecommerce customers buy teams

Manage and actively participate in trade shows to maximize sales opportunities and event related investment.

Requirements

Bachelors degree required

10+ years consumer packaged goods experience including Sales and/or Category Management for key customers

Experience and understanding of Natural customers required Whole Foods Market, Sprouts, etc and Ecommerce customers preferred Amazon, Freshdirect etc.

Prior history developing and leading high performing sales teams within the Natural Channel

Strong understanding of the go-to market path with UNFI and Kehe

High level of proficiency in working directly with Senior Level Management within a clients headquarters

Experienced in development and execution of joint business planning and top-to-top meetings with large, strategic customers

Advanced negotiation skills

Ability to build talent, culture and capability within a winning team

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and dynamic environment

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at once

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies

Willingness to travel (>40%)

The salary range for this full-time position is $178,500.00 - $280,500.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
