THE ROLE
Pure Storage is redefining how enterprises harness the power of data, and AI is central to this transformation. We are seeking an experienced Director / Senior Director of Product Strategy to lead the global go-to-market for our AI product line. This individual will be responsible for driving successful adoption of Pure's AI products.
This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, product management, collateral creation, and enterprise customer understanding. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of AI/ML ecosystems (LLMs, RAG, Agents, Co-Pilots, data fabrics, pipelines, warehouses, and lakes), combined with a proven ability to translate complex technologies into compelling value propositions for C-level buyers, technical audiences, and industry analysts.
WHAT YOULL DO
Define and articulate the value proposition for Pure's AI product line across customer personas, industries, and geographies. Create differentiated offerings and solutions that highlights technical strengths (LLMs, MCP-based agents, RAG, data platforms) and business outcomes. Develop and execute the global GTM strategy in partnership with Product Management, Sales, and Engineering. Equip sales teams and partners with the tools, training, and collateral they need to successfully position and sell AI-driven solutions. Act as a spokesperson for Pure's AI vision in customer meetings, industry events, analyst briefings, and media opportunities. Build credibility as a thought leader by shaping the AI narrative around data fabrics, pipelines, and enterprise AI adoption.
WHAT YOU BRING
15+ years in product management, product marketing, strategy or related roles in enterprise software, SaaS, or data infrastructure companies. Demonstrated success in launching and scaling AI/ML-driven products, ideally in the areas of LLMs, RAG, Agents, or enterprise data platforms. Deep understanding of enterprise data ecosystems (data warehouses, lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, semantic layers). Experience working with Fortune 500 customers and selling into technical and executive audiences, preferably with early stage startups. Strong technical foundation in AI/ML, data management, and cloud platforms. Exceptional storytelling skills-able to simplify complex concepts into compelling narratives. Proven ability to influence across product, sales, marketing, and executive teams. Strong public speaking and executive presentation skills. Results-driven mindset with experience building pipeline and accelerating revenue growth.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or related field required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
