Overview
Come join the Microsoft 365 & Copilot team to lead outbound product marketing for Microsoft Copilot. AI presents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to change how people work and how businesses operate. Microsoft 365 Copilot is AI built for work, and customers around the world are using it to transform productivity and reinvent their business processes. As the Senior Director of Copilot Outbound Product Marketing, you'll lead a team of product marketers responsible for storytelling, core content, and sales enablement. You and your team will own the Copilot narrative and value proposition and bring it to life through the content customers, sellers, and partners rely on - from pitch decks and customer case studies to product roadmaps, licensing guides, adoption materials, campaign assets, web and digital experiences, and product videos and demos. You'll partner closely with product teams, integrated marketing, field readiness, and sales leaders to ensure our story is differentiated, our core content is best-in-class, and our sellers and partners are equipped to win - driving revenue, adoption, and usage at scale.

Responsibilities
Team leadership
- Build, coach, and retain a high-performing team of product marketers.
- Steward thoughtful career planning and development and create and nurture a culture of inclusion where people do their best work.
Storytelling
- Own the end-to-end narrative and value proposition for Microsoft 365 Copilot.
- Translate complex product capabilities into a clear, compelling, and differentiated story for business and technical audiences - across keynotes, pitch decks, and campaign moments.
Core content
- Lead the creation of the foundational marketing content that powers the business - customer case studies, product roadmaps, licensing guides, web and digital, and product videos and demos - ensuring quality, consistency, and a trusted single source of truth across the organization.
Sales enablement
- Equip the field and our partners to sell with confidence.
- Develop the pitch decks, adoption materials, and enablement tools that accelerate the sales motion and turn interest into deployment and usage.
Cross-team partnership
- Partner with product teams, integrated marketing, go-to-market (GTM), field readiness, public relations (PR), and analyst relations (AR) to align the story and content with product strategy and key launch moments throughout the year.
Spokesperson
- Represent Microsoft Copilot with customers, partners, press, and analysts, including presentations and demos at large events such as Ignite.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
- Masters Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in product marketing
- OR Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in product marketing
- OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years people management experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications
- Masters Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 12+ years experience in product marketing
- OR Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 15+ years experience in product marketing
- OR equivalent experience.
- 8+ years people management experience.
- Experience with B2B (business to business) product marketing
- Content creation experience across formats - decks, customer case studies, video, web and digital
- Sales enablement and go-to-market execution experience
- Enterprise software or software as a service (SaaS) marketing experience
- Large-format presentations experience
Product Marketing M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $155,800 - $277,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $202,400 - $303,600 per year.
