Job Summary

Responsible for setting and executing the Supply Chain maintenance and reliability strategy across the distribution center network. Ensures the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of automation, facilities, and utilities while maximizing uptime, extending asset life, and driving continuous improvement. Provides strategic leadership and collaborates with Operations, Engineering, Safety, Human Resources, and Finance to enhance performance, control costs, and enable scalable growth that achieves or exceeds Supply Chain financial and operational targets.

Job Responsibility

  • Creates and executes the Supply Chain maintenance strategy and directs network wide priorities to achieve short- and long term operational, financial, and reliability goals.
  • Establishes financial, operational, and quality objectives for the maintenance organization; secures and manages resources and program budgets to achieve targeted cost, uptime, and reliability performance targets.
  • Leads data driven Lean and reliability initiatives that deliver measurable improvements in maintenance performance and establishes the roadmap and standards for long term maintenance excellence.
  • Champions the Supply Chain maintenance vision with senior leadership and the distribution network, ensuring alignment of priorities, consistent adoption of standards, and momentum for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Establishes Supply Chain maintenance standards and provides governance to ensure consistent execution of operating plans, performance expectations, and long term maintenance strategies across all distribution centers; removes barriers to sustained operational excellence.
  • Oversees capital planning and asset lifecycle decisions, including end of life evaluations, cost benefit analyses, alternatives to high cost repairs, and centralized parts management strategy.
  • Collaborates with cross functional partners, including Engineering, Operations, Safety, Human Resources, and Finance, to translate strategic maintenance priorities into executable plans, ensuring alignment on resource needs, operational impacts, and performance outcomes.
  • Leads safety, compliance, and sustainability efforts for all maintenance activities in partnership with Supply Chain Integrity.
  • Provides oversight of Total Maintenance Automation (TMA) Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) data to set preventive maintenance goals, performance metrics, and long-range strategies that ensure equipment uptime and operational continuity.
  • Builds a high-performing vendor management and sourcing program for building and facility maintenance services, in partnership with Strategic Sourcing.
  • Builds organizational maintenance capability by defining required competencies and developing leaders in end-to-end supply chain principles, analytical techniques, and best practices that enable high reliability operations.
  • Leads, develops, and mentors the Maintenance team through effective onboarding, open communication, performance management, and training; builds and maintains employee morale and motivation; ensures appropriate staffing and competencies, and fosters a diverse and inclusive, high performing workplace.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, retail, or business role OR a High School diploma/GED and at least 11 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, retail, or business role
  • At least 5 years of experience analyzing issues and trends to drive improvements and solutions
  • At least 5 years of experience with distribution product flow
  • At least 5 years of experience analyzing data using statistical methods
  • At least 2 years of experience utilizing maintenance programs to track work orders and parts management
  • At least 3 years of experience in material handling systems and controls design, and installation requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace At least 5 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross-functional team leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Progressive leadership experience in distribution, manufacturing, maintenance, or reliability operations.
  • Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or reliability engineering certifications.
  • Expertise in TMA platforms, asset management strategies, and reliability best practices.
  • Experience developing long-term strategies or tech roadmaps.
  • Proven ability to develop executive-level presentations and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong background in project management, including managing cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead requirements-gathering, process design, and workflow optimization.
  • Based near a major distribution hub.
