Location: Los Angeles, California (Onsite)
Compensation: $170,000 – $190,000 + annual bonus

About the Role

SprintRay is seeking a forward-thinking Senior Director of IT to lead the evolution of our technology ecosystem from a traditional support function into a strategic driver of business performance.

This role is not just about managing infrastructure—it’s about reimagining how technology, data, and AI can be leveraged across the organization to improve efficiency, scalability, and decision-making. You will partner cross-functionally to evaluate people, processes, and systems, and implement modern, automated, and AI-enabled solutions that help SprintRay operate smarter and faster.

We are looking for a hands-on leader who can operate at both a strategic and executional level—someone who can define the vision and also drive implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Technology & Business Transformation

  • Assess current systems, workflows, and tools across all departments and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and automation

  • Lead the design and implementation of a modern, integrated technology stack that supports company growth

  • Drive digital transformation initiatives, including the adoption of AI/ML tools to enhance decision-making, productivity, and operational insight

  • Partner with leadership to align IT strategy with overall business goals

AI & Automation Leadership

  • Identify and deploy AI-driven solutions across functions (e.g., operations, customer support, sales, finance)

  • Champion a culture of automation and continuous improvement

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend practical applications within the business

IT Infrastructure & Operations

  • Oversee IT infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, and data governance

  • Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of all internal systems

  • Manage vendors, tools, and external partners

Data & Systems Strategy

  • Improve data visibility and accessibility across the organization

  • Implement systems that enable better reporting, forecasting, and KPI tracking

  • Drive integration across platforms (ERP, CRM, manufacturing systems, etc.)

Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Build and lead a high-performing IT function (initially lean, with potential to scale)

  • Act as a strategic partner to department leaders to understand pain points and deliver solutions

  • Translate technical concepts into business impact for executive stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in IT, systems, or technology leadership roles

  • Experience operating at a Director or VP level in a high-growth or technology-driven environment

  • Strong track record of leading digital transformation or modernization initiatives

  • Hands-on experience implementing AI, automation, or advanced analytics solutions within a business

  • Deep understanding of business systems (ERP, CRM, data platforms, integrations)

  • Ability to evaluate and optimize people, process, and technology holistically

  • Strong execution mindset—able to move from strategy to implementation quickly

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, healthcare, medtech, or hardware-enabled businesses

  • Familiarity with scaling systems in a fast-growing company

  • Experience building IT functions from the ground up
