Primary Purpose:
Cultivates, solicits, and stewards existing foundation and corporate relationships while developing new philanthropic relationships to support the universitys priorities. Manages a portfolio of 80-120 current and prospective donors, including local and national foundations and corporations. Provides strategic direction and daily supervision for the universitys central corporate and foundation development program. Seeks funding opportunities of $100,000+ to support colleges and units across the university.

Essential Job Functions:
Manages a portfolio of approximately 80-120 corporations and foundations. The portfolio should be dynamic and include a balance of foundation and corporations at various stages in the development continuum, including active qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
Facilitates 100 meaningful contacts per year, with an emphasis on in-person and virtual meetings. Each meaningful contact MUST be reported through the prospect management system by filing a contact report.
Submits approximately 25 - 40 proposals of $100,000 or more each year.
Identifies 25 new foundation and corporate prospects that have the inclination and capacity to support the university at the $100,000+ level.
Leads the planning and implementation of a strategic development plan for the Corporate and Foundation Relations Office.
Serves as primary university liaison for all foundation and corporate relationships, as well as public face of the Office within the community.
Performs other duties as assigned.
