Belong to Something Beautiful
At Sephora, beauty is about feeling seen, valued, and empowered, individually and collectively. It is connecting deeply with others, celebrating diversity and inclusivity, unlocking your potential, and making a difference every day. Together, we belong to something beautiful.
Your Role at Sephora: Ready for a career glow up? As Senior Director of Corporate Systems, you'll be the driving force behind the strategy, design, and delivery of Sephora's enterprise financial systems and applications. The work you do will impact beauty, as you lead critical initiatives — including SAP S/4HANA migration, financial planning platforms, and indirect procurement systems — that keep our business running seamlessly behind the scenes. You'll manage a team of talented engineers, managers, and directors united in beauty, supported by those who are equally passionate about building world-class corporate systems and pushing the boundaries of retail technology.
Lead Corporate Systems Strategy. Provide leadership for the selection, implementation, enhancement, and support of core corporate systems including SAP S/4HANA, Coupa, Anaplan, and APTOS/SAP CAR — creating roadmaps that align technology with business goals.
Drive S/4HANA Migration. Lead all aspects of a successful migration from legacy SAP systems to S/4HANA, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define the migration roadmap, meet project timelines, and minimize disruption to business operations.
Engage Executive Stakeholders. Manage relationships with C-level executives, controllers, and VP-level business partners — grooming ideas, strategizing initiatives, managing new requests, and handling complex escalations with confidence and expertise.
Act as a Solution Architect. Serve as a deep functional expert and solution architect, correlating business needs to SAP capabilities and offering industry-leading expertise across finance and corporate systems.
Manage Budgets, Vendors & Resources. Oversee project resources, budgets, and schedules while managing vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and day-to-day operations to ensure responsiveness to business needs.
Mentor & Develop Your Team. Lead, mentor, and guide a talented group of full-time employees and contractors — fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and excellence in corporate systems delivery.
Ensure Compliance & Audit Readiness. Manage audit requirements, data gathering, and IT audit controls to ensure systems meet regulatory and organizational standards.
15+ Years of Retail Technology Experience. Proven background managing corporate systems — including SAP S/4HANA or ECC as ERP — and finance ecosystems in a fast-paced retail environment.
Deep Finance Systems Knowledge. Extensive expertise across General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Controlling, Costing, Sales Audit, Procurement, and financial consolidation.
S/4HANA Migration Expertise. Hands-on experience leading large-scale SAP S/4HANA migration projects, with a strong grasp of architecture, design, and finance functionality — ideally with roots in ABAP coding and SAP configuration.
Executive Communication & Influence Skills. Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate and influence at the SVP/VP level, translating complex technical concepts for business stakeholders and leadership teams alike.
People Leadership Experience. 7+ years managing teams at the director level or above, including experience overseeing managers, full-time staff, contractors, and system implementors.
Education. Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering or MIS (Finance) required.
