  • Own economic value creation from transformation initiatives (revenue, margin, productivity, ROI)

  • Lead priority division-level initiatives, including BID Digital, China Mid-Tier, strategic partnerships, and Cell Therapy strategy

Operating Model, Governance & Rhythm

  • Shape BID's operating model, governance, and decision rights to enable long-term strategy

  • Drive QBR and MBR integration, ensuring alignment between strategy, performance, and execution

  • Ensure strong linkage across STRAP, AOP, QBRs, and execution activities

Change Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead division-wide change efforts to ensure adoption and sustained results

  • Build critical capabilities required for future growth (digital, partnerships, innovation)

  • Develop and mentor high-potential leaders within the BTO and across BID

Executive Communication & Influence

  • Lead strategic communications for BID, including CEO letters and executive narratives

  • Present strategic priorities, progress, and outcomes in QBRs and executive forums

  • Act as a trusted thought partner to senior leadership

Innovation & Investment Prioritization

  • Define and drive BID innovation priorities across the division

  • Shape investment decisions and portfolio trade-offs to maximize strategic impact

Role Scope & Accountability

  • Enterprise-level decision-making authority with direct accountability for results

  • Not a PMO, program coordination, or internal consulting role

Measures of Success

  • Clear, executed 5-year BID strategy

  • Measurable economic impact from transformation initiatives

  • Alignment across leadership, operating rhythms, and investments

  • Sustained adoption of new capabilities and ways of working
