Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer in Lakeland, FL. Key Responsibilities
  • Define and develop DevOps infrastructure projects
  • Design and implement secure automation solutions for each of the different environments relative to our SDLC (development, staging/UAT, production)
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines to maximize development efficiency and streamline release cycle
  • Configuration and managing databases such as MSSQL, Mongo
  • Establish milestones for necessary contributions from departments and develop processes to facilitate their collaboration
  • Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them
  • May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor' degree in Computer Science or a relevant field. Equivalent working experience is acceptable
  • At least 3 years of working experience in a DevOps capacity
  • Experience with cloud security, such as managing users, roles, and privileges through IAM and integrating vulnerability assessment tools with CI/CD pipeline
  • Proficient in scripting/programming languages for automation - Python/Bash/PowerShell/Terraform
  • Excellent troubleshooter
  • Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments
  • Written Communication - Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
