The ideal candidate will have strong experience in .NET development, API integration, cloud messaging, CI/CD, and secure DevOps and a proven ability to lead end-to-end delivery, mentor teams, and establish development standards for scalable, secure solutions.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain robust API integrations using JSON and Kong API Gateway.Implement and manage messaging solutions using IBM MQ and Solace.Develop secure applications leveraging AWS Key Management Service (KMS) for encryption and decryption.Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Harness or equivalent platforms.Integrate and automate security scanning with Veracode, SonarQube, GHAS, and Wiz.Collaborate with architects, DevOps, security, and product stakeholders to align solutions with business needs.Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and messaging issues.Document technical designs, standards, processes, and procedures.Required Skills & Qualifications:7+ years of software development focused on cloud-native applications.Technical leadership experience in an onshore/offshore model with ownership of delivery and team performance.Ability to mentor engineers, set coding standards, and promote consistency through delivery.Proven Agile experience with Scrum, sprint planning, and Jira for backlog management.Deep experience in .NET (required). Java experience is helpful.Strong background in API integration using JSON and Kong API Gateway.Hands-on experience with IBM MQ and Solace messaging platforms.Proficiency with AWS KMS for secure key management and encryption.Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Harness or similar tools.Familiarity with Veracode, SonarQube, GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS), and Wiz.Proficient in one or more languages such as Java, Python, .NET Core, or Node.js, with GitHub and GitHub Copilot usage.Experience with Jira for work tracking and execution.Proficiency with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform.Proficient in application observability using tools such as Datadog or Dynatrace.Strong understanding of microservices architecture and secure coding practices.Preferred Skills:AWS Developer or Security certification.Experience with containerization using Docker.Professional or personal experience with Large Language Model (LLM) applications such as Claude Code (CLI).Experience with AI-assisted development.Why BCforward?At BCforward, we believe in advancing lives and careers.
