Introduction
Join our dynamic team as a Senior Developer & AI Innovation Lead in Assortment Planning. This role is pivotal in driving AI and software development initiatives within our Global Sports Planning division. Located onsite at PHK with the flexibility of working from home on Fridays, this position offers a unique opportunity to innovate and modernize our assortment planning tools and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of software development experience with strong proficiency in at least two of the following: Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, SQL, or cloud-native frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience applying AI/ML in a product or business context — solutions that users depend on.
- Proven ability to modernize legacy tools or processes end-to-end, including architecture, data layer, UX, and deployment.
- Experience designing and building data-intensive applications, working with large, structured datasets, aggregation logic, and multi-dimensional planning grids.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate between technical and business stakeholders; comfortable leading workshops, demos, and whiteboard sessions with non-technical planners.
- Self-directed mindset: ability to take ownership of a problem space, define the roadmap, and execute with minimal direction.
- Applicants must be LOCAL and able to work directly for Artech on W2.
- Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry is preferred but not required.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions for assortment planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize existing tools and processes.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to enhance team capabilities in AI and software development.
