Allied Universal is hiring a Senior Database Administrator. The Senior Database Administrator is responsible for the design, administration, security, optimization, availability, and support of enterprise database platforms. Serving as a senior technical resource, this role provides leadership in database architecture, performance tuning, disaster recovery, automation, and data integration initiatives. The position partners closely with application development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business teams to ensure database environments are secure, stable, scalable, and aligned with organizational objectives, while also serving as an escalation point for complex production issues and database-related projects.

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
Must possess one of the following:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study
Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study with a minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible database administration experience
High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible database administration experience
Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible database administration experience
Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting mission-critical Microsoft SQL Server environments
Experience supporting high-availability enterprise systems, database performance tuning, backup and recovery strategies, disaster recovery solutions, and on-premises and cloud-hosted database environments
Experience with SQL Server Agent, SSIS, SSRS, Always On Availability Groups, Replication, Database Mirroring, and backup/recovery methodologies
Experience with PowerShell scripting, automation, database monitoring, performance analysis, data modeling, database design, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis
Advanced Microsoft SQL Server administration and T-SQL programming skills
Strong project leadership, oral and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic enterprise environment
