We're hiring a Senior Data Scientist (AI/GenAI) to join our team in Greenville, SC. This role offers a hybrid schedule, with onsite work required 3 days a week.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience with:
- Data science, with a focus on AI and machine learning applications
- Cloud platforms (e.g., Azure), big data technologies (e.g., Spark), and enabling tools (Kubernetes)
- Proven expertise in Python, React, and Postgres
- Demonstrated ability in programming languages (e.g., Python, PySpark) and data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy)
- Experience building autonomous AI agents using frameworks (i.e., LangChain, LangGraph, MCP) to support reasoning and decision-making
- Previous experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn), data visualization tools and framework (e.g., Power BI, Steamlit), and generative AI technologies (e.g., LLM, chatbot) preferred
- AI Ops/MLOps experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms
- Partner with diverse functional groups to identify business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions
- Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and support decision-making
- Design and conduct experiments to validate model performance and improve operational processes
- Monitor and maintain AI models in production, ensuring they operate effectively and efficiently
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the development of standard processes in data science and AI Ops
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree (Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $110,000.
