Essential Duties and Responsibilities• Enters customer orders into ERP.
• Acts as first line interface for daily customer inquiries (order status, shipment status, order problems etc.)
• Confirms orders, works closely with scheduling to provide updates on shipping status and notifies customers of any backorder or delivery date changes.
• Uses Customer ERPs and EDI Portals to pull and confirm POs and Order Data.
• Initiates customer JIT RFQs, revision updates and part reactivations.
• Resolves price and part discrepancies and updates the system ensuring ISO change control compliance.
• Coordinates and completes customer compliance requests and ASNs (Advanced Shipping Notice).
• Maintains records relative to customers and orders, such as item pricing, and customer lists.
• Sets up and administers "customer master" files in ERP system.
• Maintains and updates order entry procedures.
• Backs up planning on scheduling orders in ERP system.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling a variety of tasks.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook & Excel) & ERP (knowledge of Infor SyteLine a plus). Organized and detail oriented.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to maintain composure in stressful or challenging situations.
