The Humane Society of Missouri is in search of a seasoned custodian to assist in upholding the cleanliness of our adoption center. As the Senior Custodian, you will play a vital role in furthering our mission by ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for both animals and visitors. We are looking for someone who is punctual, respectful, and focused on completing tasks efficiently.
In this role you will:
Sweeps and mops all public areas, other than kennel areas
Clean and scrub carpeted areas as needed
Maintain tile floors through stripping, buffing, and refinishing (Quarterly)
Maintain the security and maintenance of equipment and tools
Keep accurate records of work and scheduled services for equipment
Receive, load, and unload supplies as needed
Set up tables, chairs, and furniture for events and meetings
May help with snow removal from sidewalk areas as needed
Provide assistance with supply procurement
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Must have at least 5 Years experience in a related field
Possession of a valid Driver's License is required
Previous experience cleaning and maintaining floors is a plus
