Title: Senior Cost Accounting Analyst

Focus: The Senior Cost Accounting Analyst supports manufacturing cost control and site accounting activities for Olin''''s largest assets. In this role, you will oversee cost-of-sales drivers (raw materials, energy, manufacturing and engineering spend), capital expenditures, working capital, and productivity initiatives. You will also support accurate and timely financial closes, budgeting/forecasting, and management reporting - providing insights that help improve efficiency and profitability. This role is high impact and high visibility partnering closely with the Chlor-Alkali Manufacturing Director. This role offers hands-on experience working in SAP within a manufacturing environment.
Senior Cost Accounting Analyst Essential Responsibilities:
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including:
including: Executing month-end close procedures and journal entries
Preparing account reconciliations and investigating variances
Supporting physical inventory observations and ensuring accurate inventory accounting
Reviewing fixed assets and supporting capitalization/depreciation processes
Analyzing results, compiling management reports, and delivering ad hoc financial analyses
Coordinating site estimates/forecasts and supporting the annual budgeting process
Support the annual standard cost-setting process and maintain standard costing assumptions
Maintain compliance with company policy and U.S. GAAP; support SOX/internal control activities (documentation, testing, and remediation as needed)
Ensure audit readiness and support internal/external audit requests, including timely responses and supporting documentation
Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams to identify cost optimization opportunities, quantify impact, and track productivity initiatives
