Our client is aTier 1 Automotive Supplier operating within a production environnement. Argus prides itself on providing high-quality services to the automotive, energy and manufacturing industries. They are seeking a Senior Coordinator to help review and plan for upcoming plant build volumes. You will also be tasked with scheduling production /track results and managing a staff of two supporting 24/7 production.

The primary focus of this position is to evaluate our customers’ forecasted production by package and compare it to current shop capacity. Tracking forecasted and onsite package counts will be a daily routine. The goal is to adjust our production, best suiting a good balance of work amongst all departments scheduled on a shift-to-shift basis. To do this effectively, we utilize our proprietary software (AVTS), along with several customer provided apps and websites. The following 20 items further outline daily, weekly, quarterly and annual responsibilities.
  1. Manage coordinator(s) supporting 24/7 day/week production needs
  2. Interface with Customer and applicable third-party entities
  3. Interview and train coordinator staff
  4. Prepare and audit reports for invoicing-weekly
  5. Prepare and audit quarterly reports to upper management
  6. Managing changes for invoicing (spreadsheets, following POs, work with accounts receivable to reconcile issues)
  7. Manage credit card receipts and monthly reports
  8. Provide weekly production glide paths: create, advise and monitor
  9. Review forecasted volumes and units onsite with Plant Manager to determine production expectations by shift and department.
  10. Review part shortages and the impact to production schedule-assist with recovery plan
  11. Partner with Customer and internal quality groups for VINs in repair or require special handling (OBT/RTP)
  12. Audit and assess vin lists to provide customer feedback
  13. Vehicle logistics and plant scheduling liaison
  14. AVTS yard management - vehicle flow ingate/out gate. Vehicle tracking-manage priority Vins
  15. AVTS project management, launch/test new sales codes, communicate and follow up through full implementation with IT resource)
  16. Process OT quotes to account rep per Plant Manager approval
  17. Creating/managing processes and procedures for coordinators (AVTS & customer systems)
  18. Participating in resolving customer system user issues
  19. Managing logistic report via shift end summary sheets
  20. Staples Orders

Years of Experience: 1-3 years of working in a production environment
Top Skills:
  • Microsoft suite of products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Cross team functionality (IT, Finance, Operations, etc.)
  • Forecasting experience (volume of resources, timeline expectations, scheduling, quoting overtime rates)
 
Secondary Skills:
