We are seeking a dynamic leader to spearhead innovation and operational excellence for a prominent aerospace manufacturing unit within a thriving $10B enterprise. This pivotal role is newly established and reports directly to the Division Vice President, emphasizing strategic transformation across eight key manufacturing locations. Your primary responsibilities will include transitioning operational practices from reactive to strategic, driving a disciplined approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. You will help create and implement standardized management systems and develop visual and Kaizen strategies initially across four key facilities, with the aim to expand across all sites. A collaborative role, you will work closely with General Managers to foster Lean leadership in a highly impactful capacity. This position offers remote work flexibility, coupled with considerable travel, particularly in the first year, to ensure effective deployment of improvements (estimated at 50-75% travel, reducing over time). Candidates should possess a BS degree, with an advanced degree being advantageous. Experience in heavy industrial sectors such as metal processing, casting, and forming is preferred, though comprehensive industry knowledge is not mandatory.
