We are seeking a Senior Consultant to provide expert support for the installation of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9 and the application of a standard architecture defined by the local Technical Lead Architect. This role will play a key part in supporting a resource leading a VCF 9 installation and VMware vSphere migration program for a critical enterprise environment.
The consultant will work onsite with technical stakeholders to ensure the solution is deployed in alignment with architectural standards and VMware best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the installation and configuration of VMware Cloud Foundation 9
- Apply and validate the standard architecture defined by the local Technical Lead Architect
- Assist with and support a VMware vSphere migration program
- Provide hands‑on technical guidance and troubleshooting during deployment
- Collaborate closely with the Technical Lead Architect and onsite teams
- Ensure implementations align with VMware best practices and enterprise standards
- Document configurations, decisions, and deployment outcomes as required
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong, hands‑on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), ideally VCF 9
- Deep technical expertise in VMware vSphere
- Proven experience supporting or leading VMware platform installations and migrations
- Ability to operate effectively in an onsite, enterprise customer environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with architects and engineers
