Senior Construction Sales Manager


Location: Pinellas County, Florida


An established and growing residential construction company is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Sales Manager to lead, develop, and modernize an existing sales organization.


This is a leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on building structure, improving performance, coaching sales professionals, and creating accountability within a growing team. We are looking for a hands-on leader who understands residential construction and home improvement sales, embraces technology, and can help take an established sales department to the next level.


The ideal candidate combines strong leadership abilities with a proven background in consultative sales, relationship building, negotiation, and team development. You should be comfortable working with customers, coaching sales professionals, analyzing performance metrics, and driving results through process improvement and accountability.


What You'll Be Responsible For:


  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 8–10 residential sales professionals
  • Conduct weekly sales meetings and ongoing training sessions
  • Establish accountability, performance standards, and sales metrics
  • Improve CRM adoption, pipeline visibility, and reporting accuracy
  • Monitor sales activity, forecasting, conversion rates, and overall performance
  • Recruit, screen, interview, and help onboard new sales talent
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development
  • Collaborate with ownership and operations to improve communication, efficiency, and customer experience
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, reporting, and operational effectiveness
  • Build a culture of professionalism, accountability, continuous improvement, and results
  • Ensure the sales team is leveraging technology, reporting tools, and CRM platforms effectively
  • Create visibility into pipeline performance, forecasting, and sales activity for leadership


What We're Looking For:


  • Proven sales leadership experience within residential construction, home improvement, remodeling, or related industries
  • Strong background in consultative sales and customer relationship management
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport, establish trust, and develop long-term client relationships
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems, pipeline management, sales reporting, and business technology
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and make data-driven decisions
  • Experience recruiting, developing, and retaining top-performing sales talent
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, follow-through, and deadline management
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to implement structure and accountability while maintaining team engagement and morale
  • Strong technology proficiency and comfort working within a highly digital sales environment
  • Proven ability to lead experienced sales professionals and earn team buy-in through credibility and leadership
