Summary

The Senior Community Wellness Partner is committed to fostering wellbeing through the communities we serve by facilitating outreach and programming that engages the community in health and wellness.

This position supports the Carson Tahoe Vehicles of Change (CTVs) mobile preventive mental health program to strengthen youth mental health and well-being by helping young people build the skills, resilience, and connections needed to thrive across the Quad Counties (Carson City, Douglas, Lyon, and Storey) in Northern Nevada.

Through curriculum development, direct facilitation, outreach initiatives, and collaborative program implementation, this role strengthens connections between youth, families, schools, and community partners. The position also supports data collection, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking, grant alignment, and donor engagement to ensure measurable impact and program sustainability.

The Community Wellness Partner ensures consistency, quality, and fidelity of programming across sites while fostering safe, inclusive environments that promote engagement, learning, connection, and growth. Must be willing to travel throughout the Quad Counties and work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, Counseling, or related field
  • Five (5) years of progressive experience in youth mental health, education, prevention programming, or community-based initiatives
  • Valid unrestricted Driver's License
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing curriculum or structured youth programming
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or supervising staff, facilitators, or volunteers
  • Proven ability to build and sustain community partnerships and run outreach community events
  • Experience collecting, interpreting, and applying program data to drive improvement
  • Has attention to detail, ability to be flexible to varying needs and situations, strong facilitation skills, including managing complex group dynamics
  • Ability to work independently while contributing strategically to program growth

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Education, Public Health, or related field
  • Experience with trauma-informed frameworks, ACEs, resilience-based programming, or motivational interviewing
