Senior Commissioning Engineer

About the roleAs a Senior Engineer (AP1000 Commissioning Support) you will be responsible for leading development of Westinghouse products in support of the APx Commissioning organization. You will establish the standard commissioning program and procedures and support infrastructure development needed to support the various scopes. You will report to the Commissioning Manager and be located at Rock Hill, SC or Cranberry Township, PA. The position is hybrid; you will be onsite 2 days per week.Key ResponsibilitiesLead application development and deployment with a cross functional team of engineersDevelop and maintain the standard commissioning program strategy documentDevelop and maintain a recommended standard commissioning scheduleDevelop and maintain a set of standard commissioning administrative proceduresDevelop pre-operational and startup testing, including system turnover packages following engineering specificationsPlan and implement a comprehensive training program to ensure readiness of deployable test engineersIdentify and support procurement of specialty test equipmentSupport APX project teams as requestedSupport the APx Project Development group responding to customer requests for informationQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent5+ years of applicable experienceExperience with the operations of nuclear power plantsUnderstanding of ITAACs (Inspections, Tests, Analysis, Acceptance Criteria)Key skills in the following areas are needed to be successful:Strong commitment to safety and procedural complianceAnalytical thinking and root cause analysisProject coordination and time managementSupport a cross-functional teamFirst time quality in documentationAdditional Beneficial ExperienceUnderstanding of the AP1000 COL processUnderstanding of AP1000 ITAACs and their use in the delivery of the AP1000AP1000 plant commissioning/testing experienceProject Management skillsFamiliarity with testing and testing analysisTechnical backgroundUnderstanding of project priorities and teamwork abilitiesExperience mentoring engineersExperience leading engineers in the execution of complex taskSalaryThe base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $85,200 to $106,500 per year.EEO StatementWestinghouse is an Equal Opportunity Employer including Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
