Impact Recruitment has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Civil Project Engineer in our clients Lakeville, MA office.

The candidate we are looking for will have experience in residential subdivision design and permitting, commercial and industrial site design and permitting, drainage analysis and stormwater control design, road and utility design, solid waste management facility assessment, construction management, public and private sanitary sewer assessment and design, wetlands compliance and water distribution system modeling.

Additionally, building strong client relationships and presenting at public meetings are essential skills in this position.

The task assignments will also include the following:
  • Project Design for Site Development
  • Grading and Drainage Plans
  • Utility Systems for Water and Sewer
  • Report Preparation and Master Planning Studies, preparation of specifications and cost estimates
  • Project Management Assistance: Budgeting, Schedules, Client Care, Invoicing
  • Design Team collaboration, and support
  • Federal, State, City and County Standards
  • Report Preparation and Conceptual Studies
  • Preparation of Specifications and Quantity Takeoffs/Cost Estimates

Who we are looking for:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering;
  • Current MA Professional Engineer registration required;
  • 10+ years experience in civil design across a wide variety of development projects;
  • Experience leading a team of civil engineers;
  • Possess local experience with private developments performing site due diligence, preparing land use permit applications, understanding of zoning laws and presenting to municipal agencies;
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal;
  • Must demonstrate a desire to learn;
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities;
  • Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment;
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, HydroCAD and Microsoft Office.
